Writer's Lab

Writer's Lab provides a space for experienced and aspiring writers to set goals, read and workshop their work, and provide support to one another. By attending our playwriting workshops, you have the opportunity to stretch your writing muscles and to share your work with other writers and actors. Working in isolation can be very productive, but getting in the habit of hearing your work read out loud and receiving feedback in a supportive environment is just as important as the writing itself.

Writers who create or develop work in this season's Writer's Labs will have the opportunity to continue workshopping their piece with actors in our Actor's Labs in July. 

Sharing, of course, is optional - but encouraged! For the smoothest sharing process, we recommend emailing your writing - 10 pages maximum - to info@hvpal.org before the start of the Lab.

(Not a writer, or have no work to share? Come anyway! Observers and readers are always welcome.)

Note: While we strive to keep our Tuesday Labs free and open to all, it takes a lot of work to keep these programs going. We've instituted some pay-what-you-wish options for registration.
