About The Event
More information
A web design course is usually not included in an artist's formal training program. Nevertheless, we are expected to build and maintain our online presence with as much artistry as we bring to our creative work. A sleek, integrated online presence can make an early-career artist look professional and experienced. Conversely, an out-of-date website can make a seasoned working artist appear as if they are barely surfacing from obscurity. This workshop will help you identify your online assets and liabilities, assess what your website needs are, and make educated decisions about the return-on-investment of doing it yourself versus hiring a professional.Â
I don't have a website yet, will this workshop be relevant to me?
Yes! You may not have a website, but you likely already have an online presence. This workshop will help you understand what you need to leverage your current online presence (however large or small) and how to prepare for the initial phases of building your own platform.
