About The Event
This is a special "Thanksgiving Edition" of our regularly scheduled teaching artists retreat and round table. We invite anyone feeling overtaxed to join us for some round table talks about burnout and task management. Then we have an hour to just eat cookies, drink tea, and relax.
Regular description: Teaching artists often work in isolation and don't get to share the joys and challenges of teaching their passion with other educators. As gratifying as it can be to teach something you love, it can sometimes compete with the time you spend on your own creative work. This round table and retreat will provide time to share our experiences as teaching artists as well as time to relax and put our feet up with tea and cookies.
This event is pay-what-you-can. No one will be turned away for lack of funds.
