About The Event
In order to help us expand our play reading we will be hosting a series of pot-lucks where we all sit down and read a play.
Q. How does it work?
A. MAKE SURE YOU REGISTER/RSVP FOR THIS EVENT. This is super important and immensely helpful for us as we plan for food, seating, etc. A few days prior to the event we will send out a character list for participants to review. When it's time to read we will all pick characters out of a hat and then change readers at each act. The reading will be followed by a discussion of the piece.
Q. What if I don't want to read?
A. No problem! Join us for food, community, and to hear a play read out loud!
Q. Can I show up late?
A. Our potluck begins precisely at 5, and we encourage participants to be on time so that we can all enjoy each other's dishes! That said, we'll never turn anyone away. We start reading at 6 and choose new parts after each act, so there's always room for new faces to jump in, regardless of what time they arrived.
This event is Pay What You Can. All are encouraged to bring a dish to share!
