About The Event

Devised theater offers an ensemble the opportunity to make unique and relevant theater in a short period of time. While techniques vary widely, this class will put a few approaches under the microscope as well as begin the process of building our own piece of devised theater.

Part 1 will focus on the history and relevance of Devised Theater as a vehicle for playmaking.

Part 2 will have us putting those techniques into practice as we create our own short pieces of Devised Theater.
