About The Event
Is there a role you've always coveted? A particular play you've never had the opportunity to perform in? This 3-part workshop makes space for us to dive head-first into characters we've always dreamed of playing.Â
Workshop 1: Character identification and exploration.
Workshop 2: Rehearsal and development (with guest directors)!
Workshop 3: Sharing and refining (invite your friends)!
There will be homework assigned for character development but memorization will not be required.
Why is this event pay-what-you-can?
The Lab believes that the work we do here plays an essential role in the creative health of our community. We do not want anyone (especially during this time of insecurity) to be excluded from the work for lack of funds. However, we also have our financial commitments (rent!) that we need to cover, so we invite any participants who can afford it to contribute any amount they want via our donation platform.Â
