About The Event
We will begin by exploring our motivations for making theater in this unique way. What draws us to this experimental and unpredictable work? How can we harness our individual directing style to serve our project?
Each student will develop a devising project of their own and take it through key developmental stages beginning with a concept, and proceeding through a project outline, location options, casting plan, and schedule.
Whether you have a devising project in mind that you’d like to workshop, or you want to be led through the concept-to-launch process, this class is for anyone ready to learn about leadership and ensemble-forward theater making.
The class fee covers all four two hour classes. Class is limited to 8 participants.
Teaching Artist Info
