About The Event
In this two-hour class for individuals with all levels of experience, we will educate, demystify, and have fun around the topics of dance, using your body through movement, and how to tackle a dance audition.
The class, taught by Beth Christensen, will begin with a very classic "dance class" warm-up (designed to get those muscles warm, and your heart pumping!); from there, participants will learn some of the more popular dance steps that you are sure to see at almost any dance call, as well as a small musical theater jazz combination, culminating in a lead discussion on things like how to prepare for a dance audition and tips on how to pick up choreography.
