CLOWNING with Amy Crossman

Jump on into your body and come spelunking as we explore the comic world! This is the land where things are funnier, sparklier, yummier and more beautiful.  Leave your big smart brain at the (proverbial) door, and (re)discover your unique and personal sense of joy, play, and fun.  Along the way, be prepared for lots of laughs!

NOTE: If you can find a place where you can move around and/or make noise for this class, that's great! If you have a pillow to make noise into, that's also great! If you don't have access to these things, reach out and maybe we can help!

Teacher Bio:

Amy Crossman is an actor, writer, teaching artist and clown. She was born, raised, and is still traipsing around New York City.  She has been seen regionally at Chenango River Theatre, VOICETheatre, Hudson Valley Shakespeare Festival, Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival and the Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey. She’s taught for the educational programs of Manhattan Theatre Club, the Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival, and Hudson Valley Shakespeare Festival. Training: Drew University, the Upright Citizens Brigade, and The Funny School of Good Acting, among other places.  Proud member of AEA.
